Mont Epoch 2P Expedition Tent

The Epoch is a generous 2 person, expedition tent with blizzard-grade full Nylon interior, 3 large roof vents & 2 spacious vestibules. The 5 pole design provides enormous stability in high winds & when you are facing extremes the Epoch’s ability to hold dual poles make it the only choice.
2 Person, Expedition, 4 Season
The Epoch Tent is a dedicated expedition, 4 season tent ideally suited for use above the snow line and at high altitude. The Epoch is incredibly stable in high wind thanks to an exceptionally strong pole structure and seven guy cords including four 3-point attachment guy cords. Ventilation is controlled with 3 internally accessed roof vents, and valances on both the large and small vestibule minimise windblown snow.
10,000mm+ waterhead Nylon floor
With a waterhead of over 10,000mm the Nylon tub floor has more than 3 times the waterproof rating of many competitor’s tents. Tents with a floor waterhead of 3000mm or less may leak from kneeling pressure! This market-leading 10,000mm+ waterhead is achieved with a tightly woven 70 denier Nylon fabric with a durable waterproof PU laminate applied.
Fully Tape Seam Sealed
Mont Tents have always and will always be sold fully seam sealed, waterproof and ready for rain straight out of the box.
A clear polyurethane seam sealing tape is applied with a seam sealing machine at an exact speed, pressure and temperature. Mont seam sealing is lightweight, durable and totally waterproof.
DAC Featherlite NSL Poles
All Mont tents use the highest quality poles made by DAC in South Korea. These poles are selected for their high strength, exceptionally low weight, precision engineering and for DAC’s market-leading environmental standards.
Double poles for maximum stability
The Epoch has the capacity to be double poled to give unparalleled stability in high winds. All pole sleeves, clips and eyelets are designed to easily take a second set of poles, which are an additional purchase.
Multiple eyelets
Multiple eyelets on all tabs allows the Epoch to be set up with dual poles for maximum stability in high winds & heavy snow loading. Multiple eyelets also allow you to adjust pole tension as conditions change by moving the pole ends between eyelets. In the rare case of an eyelet failure, there is at least one other eyelet at every point as a back up.
Factory tape sealed seams
The Epoch tent comes with all main seams factory seam sealed, so there is no need to waterproof any of the main seams.

Extend the life and increase the water protection of your Tent floor with a lightweight, waterproof footprint. Made from a durable 70 denier PU coated Nylon with a 5000mm waterhead.
